Cachopo
An alliance between nature and its historical heritage;
Cachopo is located in ‘Serra do Caldeirão’, the Cauldron Mountain, 40km’s from Tavira. The village is can be accessed from Tavira or Faro / Loule.

The village is rural, and the locals live predominantly from the production of cork, agricultural products, livestock and beekeeping. The flora and fauna is characteristic of the Mountain region and has a rich historical and archaeological heritage.
There are a few restaurants and cafes and a grocery shop for those who enjoy a taste of the local cuisine. The village also has a health center and pharmacy. Cachopo is 50 km from Faro Airport. We recommend a car rental.
